Alexander Layer Released his first Guitar Transcription Book

The guitarist Alessandro De Fusco, aka Alexander Layer, released the Complete Guitar Transcriptions book. The composer said that the book contains tabs and sheet music of some of the songs from his albums.

“This work, consisting of an anthology of transcriptions, was born from the idea of collecting all my works that, in recent years, have been influenced and inspired by Norse mythology. The tracks mark a milestone in my personal musical research in melodic and technical fields of the guitar.

My choice to present them in transcription form is driven by the desire to emphasize my learning path which, precisely from the analysis and study of the transcriptions, has grown stronger, enriching my instrumental language and becoming a source of new inspiration.“

Alexander states that he is very excited to share his latest work. He also announced some news about his solo project – Alexander Layer.

“I am writing new songs for a future album with small sound and theme changes. Thanks to all the people who follow and support my project.“
