Celebrating the 20th anniversary, the Swedish rock band Mando Diao released the new studio-album, Boblikov’s Magical World, along with the new video “Get It On“.
According to the critics, it is a straight-to-the point album with power drumming, lots of riffs, with a simple boogie sound.
Being free spirits, Mando Diao have always gone their own way, which have contributed to the band’s successful and musically extensive career which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year.
The character Boblikov, the symbol of Mando Diao’s new studio-album “Boblikov’s Magical World”, represents the persona we all carry inside of us that likes to turn things upside down.
“This album has been so much fun to create and finalize and we have allowed ourselves to have complete freedom in the process. The album finishes almost a year-long build-up process and, of course, includes the gems from Stop the Train as well as Primal Call.”, states the band members.
This summer, Mando Diao will be playing several big and selected festivals and shows, including Lollapalooza in Stockholm as well as Dalhalla, Gothenburg and Malmö together with The Hives and The Sounds, as well as festivals in Switzerland and some headline shows in Germany.
